New changes coming to Crowing About Primitives

Happy New Year to All
Many new changes coming this year..

YES I will still be offering wool, but I will be listing it as I have it available and will also be noting to please email me big wool orders a week in advance so I can be sure to have all the wool washed and ready to ship.

Muslin doll part etc. I am going to be offering pattern pieces sewn up for sale, I will do up any pattern asked for. I have many patterns but if I do not have what you are looking for I will ask that you supply me with the pattern to be sewn up. I follow the pattern instructions stated in pattern.

PATTERNS... well I have wanted to do this for many years with a little hesitation of stepping on toes of other designers.... I have some ideas of what I want to do but now I need to figure out how to print up regular patterns and e patterns if anyone can help me out with sources to do this I would be forever grateful... I will do my best to not step on toes...

SHOWS... I did two major shows last year and they were great.. so looking into doing them and more..

It's been a while

I meant to share these pictures much earlier then now but so much has been going on here.... I had to back to back shows that kept me busy and then I deciede last minute to sign up for the winter show here in my town... so I have been working very hard to make some more goodies... While I was getting ready for my first two shows my son broke his arm playing football for his school... so we had a 6 hour wait at the emercany waiting to get his cast put on.. I couldn't beleive they let him sit there for 6 hours before telling us it was broken.... anyways after that we were told his ex-rays would be sent up to HURK clinic and that they would call us for an appointment.. NO CALL I had to call them to find out it had been kicked back to University Hospital because my son was not 16 so PEDS had to look at it.. so after two weeks we got in to PEDS... here comes the shocker... the doctor asked Kyle to put his arm out and he took a hold of the cast and wiggle wiggle off it came no saw needed.. we were in shock.. the doctor said he thought it strange that kyle was making a fist with his cast on he said most people leave the fingers out straight.. he said he was holding it on.. So we got him recasted with a fiberglass cast... We go back today to get it cut off and x-rays done to see if it has healed or if he needs surgery...

Well, I got accepted in another group Lemon Poppy Seed, I was on this group back in the day when it first opened up.. but they did not have a section for selling supplies were now they do.. So please keep an eye for my wool on Lemon Poppy Seed.. I will be sure to offer deals all the time....

I have yet to get my website updated, I just don't seem to have enough time.. The family has been going through some stuff so working has been the last thing on my mind... but things are turning around so I am finding a few more hours in a day to spend on my craft..

We are the same age..I grew up watching him in some of my favorite films, Lucas, The Lost Boys and Dream a Little Dream... I was very sad to hear of his passing... From watching the Two Cory's I did see a little into him and that he was struggling to find himself.. It seemed to me that Cory was just trying to please everyone while falling apart... His life ended to short... I can't believe how the drug system works in the USA, that Cory was able to go to multiple places to get the same prescriptions we can't do that here in Canada.. all of our medial prescriptions are on record to all pharmacies.. I blame them for feeding his need to medicate..

BURBANK, Calif. — Corey Haim, a 1980s teen heartthrob for his roles in Lucas and The Lost Boys whose career was blighted by drug abuse, has died. He was 38.Haim died early Wednesday at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Los Angeles County coroner's Lt. Cheryl MacWillie said."

As he got out of bed, he felt a little weak and went down to the floor on his knees," Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said. His mother called paramedics.

An autopsy will determine Haim's cause of death. There was no evidence of foul play, police Sgt. Michael Kammert said.

Haim, who gained attention for his roles in "Lucas" and "The Lost Boys," had flulike symptoms before he died and was getting over-the-counter and prescription medications, police Sgt. William Mann said."

He could have succumbed to whatever (illness) he had or it could have been drugs," Mann said. "He has had a drug problem in the past."

Haim was taken by ambulance to the hospital from an apartment in Los Angeles near Burbank. The enormous complex is known as Oakwood and is popular with young actors, Kammert said.

Haim acknowledged his struggle with drug abuse to The Sun in 2004."

I was working on Lost Boys when I smoked my first joint," he told the British tabloid."

I did cocaine for about a year and a half, then it led to crack," he said.

Haim said he went into rehabilitation and was put on prescription drugs. He took both stimulants and sedatives such as Valium."

I started on the downers which were a hell of a lot better than the uppers because I was a nervous wreck," he said. "But one led to two, two led to four, four led to eight, until at the end it was about 85 a day."

In 2007, he told ABC's Nightline that drugs hurt his career."

I feel like with myself I ruined myself to the point where I wasn't functional enough to work for anybody, even myself. I wasn't working," he said.

The Toronto-born actor got his start in television commercials at 10 and earned a good reputation for his work in such films as 1985's Murphy's Romance and his portrayal of Liza Minelli's dying son in the 1985 television film A Time to Live.

His career peaked and he became a teen heartthrob with his roles in the 1986 movie Lucas, and The Lost Boys, in which he battled vampires.

In later years, he made a few TV appearances and had several direct-to-video movies. He also had a handful of recent movies that have not yet been released.

But in 1997 he filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, listing debts for medical expenses and more than $200,000 in state and federal taxes.

His assets included a few thousand dollars in cash, clothing and royalty rights.In recent years, he appeared in the A&E reality TV show The Two Coreys with his friend Corey Feldman. It was canceled in 2008 after two seasons. Feldman later said Haim's drug abuse strained their working and personal relationships.

In a 2007 interview on CNN's Larry King Live, Haim called himself "a chronic relapser for the rest of my life."Prayers for his friends and family!

Moving On Down

well last year I moved my shop upstairs to my son's bedroom and moved him down to the basement... I had fun working upstairs I was amazed that I fit almost my whole basement of supplies into such a tight room.. well anyways... I spent this past weekend moving myself back down to the basement.. the dust was so unreal upstairs from the ripping of fabric and sanding and such that it was making everything dirty and dusty.. so now being in the basement I will be able to be messy again (lol) and get more done.. I am going to paint up my son's room and move him back up .. no he is not happy but he is getting to that age were trusting him is very hard to do... I am sure many of you know what it is like to have a teenager running around the house thinking he knows it all.. doesn't seem to matter either how much you tell them they don't.. and they have a lot of growing to still do.. but I know when he is older it will all sink in so I just keep on telling him.. Well as you can see below I have listed a few items for sale on eBay the bottle shaped gourds have gone.. I will be listing more this week as I go through my stuff..

It has been a long while since I have posted anything new going on with me... I have continued to work on my drawing and painting signed up for a few more courses to help me get better...

STORE MAKE OVER... Me and my Step Father have been working on rremoving walls and finishing up the make shift add on we did last year.. He has been busy tearing down walls rebuilding counters, putting up new walls, painting etc.. I will be going up in a couple of weeks to start decorating for our reopening in March.. We close down in Jan - Feb... So with that coming I have been busy catching up on making some Annie's.. I sold out last year and don't have many dolls left... I had an order come in for a couple of Annie's so I thought best make 4... so here are the two left still waiting on there hair... I have doll parts everywhere.. Today I am working on the dolls to the left.. this is a sweetmeadows pattern.. I have been so scared to tried these faces.. but I have to say I am happy with how they turned out.. After I get these piles of Annie's done up I need to get a few bunnies done up.. We are getting snow here today.. this winter has been a weird one... We are getting snow to the east and west but not were we need it .. Vancouver needs it for the Olympics.... I can't wait for them to start.. Well that is all that is about new here in my life.. I will be back to chat some more soon.. hopefully will have some new store pictures to show you all.. Thanks for listening to me go on..

Merry Christmas Everyone

This is my favorite time of year... I anxiously await for Halloween to be done so that I can get out my Christmas Goodies.. I start to decorate the house around the 1st week of November.. I use to wait until the first snowfall but we seem to be a little absent of that this year... (praying for some snow for Christmas Morning) .. We use to celebrate Christmas at my Mom's home for many years but that tradition has now been passed down to me.. Today is the day that my Mom and Dad come in with a van full of goodies., some to eat and some to open up... I hardly get any sleep this night.. I am a big kid when it comes to Christmas.. I love to see the excitement on everyones faces... Some goodies I make for my mom and she so loves them and this year I have bought her some goodies from my favorite artist.. I have such a hard time parting with them but I know how much she admires my collection when she comes in for visits.. So thought it time to start to fill her home.. She is like me and keeps almost all goodies out.. All of my handmades she keeps out... I just can't part with my collection so they stay out year round.. This year I have spoiled my Husband and Son... (This year what am I talking about ...lol I do it every year) I always say I am going to cut back but I just don't seem to do that.. Well to finish off our Christmas tradition we get up bright and early on Boxing Day and rush right out for those holiday sales.. I know we are nuts..lol..

Brrrrr It sure is COLD here

Burr.... winter took it's time getting here but I think it is here to stay for a bit now.. We only have a small skiff of snow :( ... we are sitting at -10 C but with the wind it feels like -19 C...

I am all caught up on Christmas Orders and am taking it a little slower now.. Do have my mind in work mode though.. I am seriously thinking of doing one of our local craft shows next year .. it runs 4 days.. so I have been searching and going through my patterns to get stuff ready .. I will have to start now to be ready for that show and our annual fall tour... if anyone has any ideas of great items to make that sell well please post me a note..

Christmas Shopping is all done other then a few stocking goodies.. I need to learn to cut back I say that every year.. but I just can't seem to do that.. I love to spoil my family and myself.. oh well it's only once a year right.. Soft In the Head has a couple of items I really want but just have to find some extra money before they sell..

Frustration with eBay, Canda Post, PayPal

Very frustrated with a customer to start. A lady had purchased my snowman heads on November 8, she paid for standard mail delivery., there was the option for expedited. She contacted me 4 days after item was mailed being very rude telling me her item should be there and that she was very upset that I took her money with no item sent. I emailed her back telling her first that the item was coming from Canada and standard post mail takes any where from 12 - 15 day but can also take up to 4 - 6 weeks according to Canada post if the item gets held up at the borders.... I asked her to give it the 15 days and well she did then she went and throw up a negative feedback on eBay.. I hate that we have no rights as eBay sellers to defend ourselves we are guilty right away. I offered this lady a refund on her purchase before the negative feedback and after the negative feedback.. I heard nothing from her. I have contacted Canada Post as well but they day up to 5 days before they get back to you.. and then I have to wait 90 days before I can get a refund from them... Then I awake this morning to find she has gone through Pay Pal and opened a claim.. I responded to her message and then gave her a full refund.. She told me I shouldn't be so cheap and ship Priority .. They option was given to her it would have cost her 13.95 but she took standard post for 7.50 so were am I being cheap I offered it..

This upsets me so much as many of my customers know I am to please and do everything in my power to help situations as they arise... thank goodness those are far and few between... I have not control when my parcel leaves my hands.. I do make sure that all of my packages are well taped and all names and labels are well covered as well so nothing can get lost or damaged..

I just like everyone who sells on eBay are trying to make money to support there family.. when I list my big items I give all of my customers price breaks on the shipping... an example

Doll price 50.00 for a 23 Inch doll shipping fees (expedited) I charge them anywhere from 12 - 15 dollars actual shipping depending how far into the USA it is from me can vary from 26.00 - 35.00 and I always pay the difference without asking for extra money... so take that off the sale of my doll, plus material, plus eBay and pay pal fees and I really make nothing...

Sorry to rant but I am just so made.. and if this lady get the snowman I will never know..

Calling on all ladies help that have or are going through the change... I believe that I have started it and at 38 that seems so early but I guess not anymore... My cousin thought she was pre menopause but the doctor told her no you are full blown menopause.. I have an appointment next Monday... Is there anything I can do... My mood swings are the worst of it all.. I can handle the hot flashes but not the mood swings... I can remember when I was pregnant with my son it was the hottest summer ever and being prego through it was the worst.. I was working at the time in a restaurant serving food and I swear the air was not on but it was.. My husband would turn the AC up before I got home so that it would be icy cold.. and it was he froze.. and now with the hot flashes he is freezing again with the heat down... lol.. The joy of being a woman...

Christmas Decoration

Here is my tree... it has many more presents under it now... all ready for the holiday season..

Starting to put out my Christmas decorations has me thinking back to when I first moved out.. I had nothing borrowed a table for the kitchen and was given a couch for the living room but it did not fit because of the apartment I was renting was the top level of a house.. so all we had was a bed and a kitchen table not that it mattered I was not much of a cook when I first moved out...lol.. Now I have so much stuff I have to pack some goodies away so that I can fit out all my Christmas goodies.. As many of you know I am a collector of others hand mades and I have quite a few... My home is starting to look like our Primitives Shop... I can remember when I did not have a lot of furniture that matched and what not but over the last 20 years since I first moved out I have made my home a quaint little primitive home.. I keep adding as the years go by.. I know the day is not far away from when my son will be leaving home to start his own adventures.. I will help him like I was helped when I moved out, give him our old furniture and what nots.. I can't believe were I am from were I was...lol... Time sure does fly by... So on I go putting up my Christmas decorations and sing jingle bells over and over.. lol.. I am a Christmas nut.. I have more space to fill since we have added some new primitives pieces to our home.. So I told hubby I need to buy some more creative pieces from my long inspiring artist..

The Show is Over

I made it.. lol.. The show was a success... a little slower on Sunday but still had a great turn out... I love to watch my repeat buyers come in and find there goodies... one of my favorite customers is a young lady that bounces as she comes in the store... She knew right what she was looking for when she came in this year.. then changed her mind and purchase BOO cat (soft in the head pattern) and a snowman head on candle Stick (Back Porch Pickins Pattern).. I had the honer of going to another customers home on the way back home.. I got to see all my goodies on display... That was so neat.. I am now back home busy getting my home back in shape..

I am also very happy to announce that I will be on Simply Primitives with all my gal pals.. I am so honored to be on there..

Had to Higher Some Help

As many of you know I am getting ready for our yearly fall show.. I have been sewing and cutting and stuffing like mad.. I now have three weeks and I know that seems like a lot but it really isn't.. I wish we had 36 hour days.. Anyways my son is always in need of money so I decided to offer him min. wage to work for me.. Today was his first day, I thought for sure he would give up but he put in a sold 5 1/2 hours @ 8.90 an hour.. so of course we had to go out and spend his earnings.. lol.. He has plans to work with me tomorrow and a couple hours a night during the week.. stuffing is a little tricky for him but he turns my stuff out, and gets them started with stuffing.. I stuffed all day with him.. we have lots done .... I will post pictures of new things done soon..

Time to hit the hay ..

Early Mornings

6AM.... and my day begins... these early mornings are killer on me.. My son started high school this September.. School hours start at 8:15 so he has to leave to catch the bus at 7:30... my son is not a get and go kinda boy... my hubby gets up at 5AM to leave for work at 6AM when I get up... After I get showered I wake my son up.. I get a 5 min shower while he takes forever.. While he is in the shower I am making him his breakfast fruit smoothie and rye toast... After breakfast I get to style his hair.. he is my little Zack Efron.. he has the same hair style so that takes some gel and lots of blow drying.. I know I must be nuts.. but it is high school.. lol.. then I make his lunch and send him packing... Now it is 7:30 AM and my day begins... It is hard to get started on my dolls this early so I usually finish my fruit smoothie and have some toast and start work about 9AM... when 3 roles around I am beat.. almost need to have a nap but my son is home then so I have to make sure he is getting started on his homework... then it is time to prep supper.. this is when I wish that I had a chef as I am not in the mood to cook and while I am getting ready for this fall show I definitely don't want to cook.. I like it to be fast and easy supers but that is hard now when we are eating healthy.. Me and my son started eating better in May and have stuck with it and both of us have dropped 20lbs each.. YEAH!!!! we both feel so much better... Today we are off to the dentist for our cleaning, I don't mind cleaning... Well I should be off and start my day.. many things to do.. and not much time left to do them in.. just wanted to touch base to let you know I am around... PAM teach me how to get my pets to work for me ( Pam of Soft In the Head)...

Making More Changes

Well as you all know I started moving my work shop up stairs to were my son use to sleep.. (he is now downstairs)I thought I had it all done but as I was making up dolls and getting ready for our fall show I was finding this small space getting smaller as I had no shelves.. so below are pictures from were I started to were I ended up..

This is were I use to be in the basement..

Here is my shop upstairs in my son's old room.. I put up shelves for my paint and extra goodies..

I hung a shelf and about another 3 that I do not have pictures of.. it was okay but the coach was really a waste of space.. so I decided last night that I wanted to take the coach back down to the basement and bring up my shelves from the basement..

And here we are.. all done.. most all of my goodies from the basement are up here now..

Tuesdays Work

I have been absent from my blogging for a wee bit.. I have been busy moving my workspace upstairs, and now that I am settled in I have been working hard and getting dolls traced, sewing and stuffed up.. Trying to also get ready for our fall show that is not that far away... I spend my night hand stitching up my tea towels... I had plenty I thought done up in the store but we are done to only a few left.. so my fingers have been very busy and very sore...

And I started this wall hanging this afternoon ... Ambitious I know..

I am so happy today ... Jane DesRosier now has a face painting course.. I have taken many online art classes and have loved them all.. I have been hoping Jane would teach and yeah I found out today she is.. now that I have the drawing down I can learn the painting.. I have always wanted to be able to paint like how she is teaching.. I have enjoyed taking all of her classes she is a great teacher.. I am now enrolled in two of her classes and Suzi's goddess class so I am going to be one busy lady for a while...

MOVING ON UP

I spent this past week moving my son to the basement and me up to his old room..

I was struggling so hard to get motivated down in my dungeon and had started working up stairs at my kitchen table ... Day light sure helps...

So I took the plunge and decided to move my son to the basement...

What a job this was...

Here is my new working room.. I am so in love with it.. if you scroll down through my old post you will see were I was before.. My basement has gotten smaller but it is still really full of all my supplies...

Now I can work late at night.. was never happy being in the basement late at night..

in the summer with the air on at night the basement was way to cold to work.. and winter it got to cold to.. now I will be nice and warm..

Here is my son's new room.. this was our second living room... So I took the love seat upstairs but the large pull out coach had to stay but it works well... He loves his room as much as I love mine..

Hello Dear Friends,Let me introduce you to Alex. He is being a big good here. Alex is a beautiful, bright, gentle, young man. He is the son of my Very Best Friend in the whole world. He is 17 years old and has lived more in this short life then most of us can imagine. You see Alex was born with 15 heart defects. The only human being on the planet with all 15 and the only person to live with 6 of the most dangerous and live to tell about it. The right side of his heart has been wired, looped, changed and added to do the work for the whole heart. His left ventricle was small and basically non functioning. Alex has lived through 3 open heart surgeries, a stroke at the age of 5 that left him with some paralysis and a pacemaker at the age of 13. Yet, looking at him you would never know it. The time has come for Alex to need a new heart. He has had all they can do to the one he was born with. The pressure his heart is pumping is causing his lung, liver and arteries to burst holes into them leaking out oxygen. They have all been repaired and this is no longer a option. Alex need a new heart. The next two days are critical. He will under go a battery of tests for the whole two days. His body, mind and spirit will all be tested. After these tests they could simply say (((NO))) he can't have a new heart and that will mean after all this fighting, struggling, and heartache we will loose him. Alex has a circle of family and friends that love him. They include Mom and Dad, 3 brothers, a 7 yr old sister and a nephew. Not to mention my family and I- his extended family as well. I am asking for prayers, happy thoughts or well wishes. What ever you believe, if you could keep this young man at the top of your list I would appreciate it. It is a fight for life, to the death. We can't loose him yet, He has come too far and has helped so many kids like him in the process. He has been the test patient. They have learned so much about a childs heart because of Alex and saved a few because of it. There is still more to learn. He has much to do in his life. He wants to make a difference beyond what he already has.So for the next TWO DAYS please keep him in your thoughts. Thank you from Alex, me and his family. My son's Graduation

June 24Th... was Kyle's graduation Day... the weather was a blistering 30 with humidity to make it feel like 40....

Kyle of course had to arrive in style.. He had is Grandfather take him in his hot rod...

Kyle had a wonderful day and many tears were shared with students not wanting the day to end...

Helpful Info for US residents shipping to Canada FREE TRACKING INFO

Hello everyone I just thought I would share this info with all US residents... you may or may not know this.. but thought I should share for any that don't know this...

When you ship to Canada you have to fill out customs forms either the large white ones or the simple green label that sticks to the boxes..

See the upper left hand corner that is were you find the number for tracking

you will find on both of these forms a sku number like this (CP146262677US) this is the tracking number.. if you enter this number into the USPS tracking service it will tell you were it is.. once it crosses over to Canada you can then start tracking your info in the Canada Post tracking service...

This is what Canada puts on the box once it reaches Canada...

Now I entered the number into my Canada Post Tracking service and this is what it says

Missing In Action

I have been MIA for a little while seem to be down and out...

I got a tooth filled 3 weeks ago, and well that turned out to me a nightmare... I had pain before the freezing was out and the pain grew and grew.. from 7 pm that night until about midnight I had taken 10 Advil's to get the pain to dull itself down.. I woke up in massive pain after a couple of hours of sleep... this went on for a week and the pain was not going away... I called my dentist two days after telling him the pain was not getting less.. he prescribed pain killers and well that did not even touch the pain either.. so that Saturday (day before Easter) I called the dentist and told him it needed to come out.. He said he could get me in at 5 pm so I sat waiting in pain... my husband drove me back to the city for the appointment .. he broke some speed laws to get me there fast... well as soon as the tooth came out .... NO MORE PAIN... only pain I had after this was a healing pain... I can stand that one... I am to go back to the dentist next Tuesday to have the same tooth pulled on the other side seeings as it would need the same filling... now way I want that pain ever again.. so pulling it will be.. thank goodness they are my back teeth..

And now I have just been down in the dumps.. I went and cleaned and reorganized my shop and made a little painting section.. well I have not wanted to go down although I have a painting I want to start... But I am still taking lessons and well am scared to ruin this one as it is very large...

I am getting some inspiration from the book I bought (The artist Way) this is a wonderful book for inspiration and becoming unblocked..

if anyone has a way of getting out of these funks please let me and other know..

It was a long long weekend... I was at the store getting it ready to be reopened for this Thursday... 10 years ago my brother passed away...

the day after my brother had passed I had just picked up my son from daycare...

we were in the back yard when he said mom see the angel...

I paused and said what did you say... he said look see the angel...

he pointed up.... I wish I had been as Innocent as he was to be able to see the Angel...

WINTER SNOW STORM

We were blasted last nigh with heavy blankets of snow..

Snow is my favorite time of year.. I have always waited for the for first sign of winter to put my tree up.. but this year it has come way to early.. I am a Christmas nut, winter is my favorite time of year... I guess because I am a home body and this way I have to stay home..lol.. I love when the ground is covered in a fresh blanket of snow.. don't care much for the sandy dirty snow..

Last nights snow fall brought down many tree limbs and out our back window in the neighbours yard a very large tree was broke in half... Oh and we lost hydro for about 3 hours...

So I spent my morning cleaning up the fallen branches and shoveling the drive way..

Our fall show...

The weather was great we could not have asked for a better weekend...
There were lots of ooohhs and awwwwws in the crowd of people...
our store was filled to the max a few times... I love when that happens because everyone just starts grabbing everything.... Met many new people that did not know we were there.. I would like to say a great big thank you to everyone that came out and enjoyed our treats and my hand mades.. I took yesterday off from work and am wanting to take a few more days but orders need to be filled so I am back at it again today... I am sorry I have no photo's to share I forgot to take up my camera..:(

Another 3 AM

Well last night around 8 I got an urgent email from a lady I sell wholesale to.. She was in dire straights to get some more product, because everything I made for her had sold... so I had to make a mad dash to my store... we decided to spend the night and get the other part of the store done up for the fall show.. well it was 3 AM when I finally hit the hay... 3 hours of sleep is just not cutting it though... it took me a greater part of the week after being up there for the weekend getting the main part of the store done.. I forgot to take some pictures so I will be posted them later on... I am so tired but I think I am on over tired.. also I am waiting on UPS to pick up my wholesale order.. I can't wait for the show to get here so I can get some sleep...lol.. I have been a busy bee thought..I managed to get two of my favorite Santa's done yesterday before we headed up to the store...... I have them for sale on my WSOAPP site.. well these tired eyes are of to sew some dollies lets hope I don't sew my fingers.. lol

Well it was a very busy weekend for me.. Our Fall Show is about 5 weeks away, so I was up at the store this weekend getting it organized for the show.. Lots of new stock in and we are going to Toronto tomorrow to get more... Friday night I started around 5 and finished the first part of the store at 3 am... next day I added more until we closed then I was back to work on the back room that we add on for the fall show... I got that done around 11pm and then was back it on Sunday for part of the day before we left to come home... I will be going back up to the store on thanksgiving weekend to finish up the other added on room...

I have tried to put these pictures in order of how the store looks... the fist pictures are the front room you walk into ... the second section is the middle room and then the third section is the add on room...

May 19, 2008 marks the 10 year anniversary of my older brothers life...

My brother took his life 10 years ago...

We had troubled childhoods and a broken home...

I believe all of this contributed to my brothers death...

Love is all he wanted but had a hard time finding it...

The Suicide of my Brother

My brother lies cruel and cold today,

He'll never touch another.

My brother lay kind and warm before.

I know I am his sister.

His troubled heart, his bleeding soul,

Yet lived he 35 years,

and now he's closed his eyes.
